Since the day I started reading about “carbohydrates” in chemistry, I wanted to know about the secret life of leaves. And whenever I see them I cannot resist myself to think about their own little universe.
In this post I want to share some of my favourite discoveries.
I brought this leaf in December. And both images are similar but are taken at different times.
It was my favourite leaf until I had not seen the beautiful leaves of eucalyptus.
Eucalyptus leaves are really my favourite. When I see them in front of a bright source of light, lots and lots of specks called “pellucid dots ” appear. In this (edited) picture, you can see how beautifully the dots are scattered all over the leaf, like fireflies in a forest.
